that cried when they heard Johnny Renaker's story. On behalf of Central
Kentukcy Cruisers, we would like to with Johnny, Brenda, and Denise the
best. Thanks for such the great job you done at our show. And also

Charlie thanks for the fine write up on my new found daughter. We have
a lot to look forward too. I even talked to her mother this past
Saturday (Nov. 11, 2000) and I asked why she didn't tell me that she
was with child. She said that she didn't want to, but thanked me for
giving her a great gift. I also meet my grand-daughter who is 14. She a
lovely girl and very smart. I am proud of her. Brenda and I had a great
visit with them in Tn. this past week-end. We are planning for the
furture. Paul loves old cars and he use to build them. After the show
at Northpark Wal Mart he said that he was going to get back into doing
them again. Again thanks and thanks also to my friends that excepted
them into the fold. Brenda and myself love all you guys. Till later,

Charlie,
Thanks again for a great show on Saturday. We had a great turnout and
more then we expected. We ended up with 83 registers. I am very happy
with that and Charlie hopefully next year we get 110-120 because we are
going to up it to a Top 35-40 or maybe even 50 with 20 specialties or
possibly 25.

You did a really good job and you will be back next year as our DJ for
the 2nd Annual Central Kentucky Cruisers Car Show In October of next
year . . . I think it is October 29th next year.

Charlie, we have come a long way and we all know it would not have been
possible without my mom Cathy . . . She is a very good woman and she
has helped me out a lot this year as far as getting the club together.

Thanks again,
T.j. Thomas

Charlie---We moved to London, KY in June from near Rochester, NY and
had frequented shows in that area for many years prior to moving. We
were able to attend our first show, The Boonesboro Boogie Nationals,
the weekend of Oct 6-7 and 8th and had a great time. We got to meet
some new car show friends and look forward to attending more shows, if
not the rest of this year, then next year for sure.

Enjoyed the DJing as well. Great site too by the way.

Carolyn and Charlie
I had only enjoyed old cars with my dad, even had the pleasure of
working(mainly assisting)on one with him before his passing, until
Johnny Cobra Wood introduced me to the nostalgic world of car shows.
And outside of the all Ford show in Louisville yours were my favorite.
I admire the way you entertain the children as well as the adults
bringing a comradery to all involved unlike any other I had witnessed.
That kind of energy fits the character of these old autos. I also am
very impressed by this site; memory lane, in memory of, and the
pictures are great as well as the Spanish Dancers. It could have only
came out of the heart of Eastern Kentucky. I just wanted to say Thank
You.

Hi Charlie! Miss all the shows this year. With pappy's health, we
haven't made many shows, just some cruises close by. Pappy goes in for
another surgery July 5 - say a little prayer for him. The two
operations in December and January resulted in a muscle being smashed
closed. This time they are going to try putting in a stint and a
balloon both. See you when we can. Love ya.
